Ward Personnel requires a Civils Site Manager to manage a land development project in Co. Cork.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring their successful completion on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site officials to ensure smooth project execution.
3. Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
4. Conduct regular site inspections in coordination with safety officers and other relevant bodies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
6. Communicate regularly with project team members to provide updates on project progress.
7. Review and approve project plans, drawings, and specifications.
8. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering or site management.
- Strong knowledge of civils.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
