The Deal Advisory department in Grant Thornton is a market leader and has extensive experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, valuations and raising capital and business planning.The role will comprise of the following activities:conducting detailed financial reviews and due diligence investigations;preparing business plans;assisting with sale and purchase mandates, MBO and MBI assignments;assisting with the preparation of valuation reports;assisting with debt and equity raisings;financial modelling;report writing;transactional services background advantageousliaising with clients, financial institutions and solicitors; andassisting in preparation of presentations and marketing initiatives.The successful candidate will be and possess:ACA / ACCA / CFA qualified or equivalentprevious experience in corporate finance or audit department;excellent communication skills; andindustry experience with an interest in returning to a professional services environment.
