Occupational Therapy Role in Mental Health Facility
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in a leading purpose-built mental health facility in North Dublin city.
The service provides specialist care and treatment tailored to the needs of individuals with severe and enduring mental illness. Each service user has a recovery care plan which guides their treatment plan. This rehabilitation service aims to support people with complex mental health problems to gain or regain cognitive, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical skills needed to live, learn, work and function as independently as possible in the community with minimal interference from symptoms.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-structured Occupational Therapy team with access to excellent resources, working in partnership with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
· A recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration
· Post-qualification experience in a mental health service, ideally in an acute or community-based setting. Placement experience will be considered.
· Ability to start immediately or within a short period of time.
