LTTS is a world class provider of aero engine component repair services to airlines and engine overhaul shops around the world. At LTTS, we specialise in the repair of aircraft engine components for both high pressure and low pressure turbine engines. LTTS is part of the EPAR (Engine Parts & Accessories Repair) network of Lufthansa Technik. The Company was founded in 1992 and we employ over 250 people in our state of the art facility in Shannon. All repairs are carried out in accordance with approvals of the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon (LTTS) is licensed by General Electric and CFMI, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) of aircraft engines, to carry out repairs in accordance with their engine shop manuals, making LTTS unique as one of a small number of companies outside of the engine manufacturers who are licensed to carry out repairs. Our expertise and focus is on the repair of turbine components contained in a wide variety of commercial aircraft engines.

Job Title: Engine Repair Operator
Reporting To: Product Leader
Terms: Permanent
Salary: €18.33 per hour (incl. 17% shift premium)
Person Specification
* Qualified in welding (TIG,Sweat welding would be advantageous)
* Good attitude, willing to learn and pursue a career in the aviation industry
* Experience of working in a manufacturing/mechanical or motor maintenance environment would be an advantage
* Should be pro-active, eager to learn and take on responsibility
* Attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity are essential
* A strong understanding of the English language is essential
* Ability to work as part of a team and get along well with other team members
* Full training will be provided to the sucessful candidate.

* Welding Experience
* CNC machining experience
* Troubleshooting skills

Working Hours : 2 Cycle Shift
Day Shift Hours:
Mon – Thurs: 7:00am- 3:30pm
Fri: 7:00am - 2:30pm
Evening Shift Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 4:00pm-23:30pm
Fri: 3:00pm-9:30pm
