Job Title: Receptionist & Sales Assistant
Role Overview
We are seeking a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Receptionist & Sales Assistant to serve as the primary point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with hands-on sales support, requiring excellent communication skills, in-depth product knowledge, and the ability to maintain a smooth operation in the downstairs showroom area.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at the entrance, creating a professional and positive first impression.
* Manage and oversee the downstairs showroom area, ensuring it is tidy, well-stocked, and customer-ready at all times.
* Handle sales transactions, process payments, and prepare invoices/receipts as required.
* Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently answer questions and guide customers to the right solutions.
* Support team members and assist with general duties as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Monitor stock levels in the showroom, liaise with the warehouse or manager for replenishment, and ensure displays are well presented.
* Provide after-sales support and excellent customer service, helping to resolve issues when they arise.
Requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a welcoming and approachable manner.
* Ability to multitask, manage a busy showroom, and stay organised under pressure.
* Confidence in learning and explaining technical product details (tiles, adhesives, and tools).
* Basic IT skills (working at a computer)
* A proactive attitude with the willingness to assist colleagues and customers alike.

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 27 per week
