About The Principal Consultant Role
We are seeking a highly experienced environmental consultant to lead our project delivery teams, manage complex consultancy projects, and drive business growth for APEM Group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead project delivery teams, managing skills, subcontractors, planning, and budgets.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance work environment.
4. Ensure technical work meets client expectations.
5. Collaborate with senior management to expand environmental services and achieve growth objectives.
6. Manage client relationships, ensuring timely and within-scope project delivery.
7. Support junior staff development.
8. Contribute to company culture and strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with at least five years of experience in environmental consultancy.
* Significant experience in aquaculture, ports and harbours, offshore renewable energy, or related fields.
* Project management software proficiency, such as Deltek.
* Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Line management experience.
* Proposal and tender preparation experience.
* Full driving license.
