RoleProfile An opportunity now rises for a full time Business Development Executive to join the Croke Park Meeting & Events team.
The successful candidate will work with our Meeting and Events team managing event inquiries and proactively sourcing new leads and develop enquiries for Croke Park Meetings and Events.

The Business Development Executive will report directly to the Sales Manager with a secondary reporting line to the Meeting & Events Department Manager.

Research potentialDomestic and International Association events throughthevarious databases andmakecontact with potentialbuyers/customersthrough email,phone,Linkedlnandothermechanisms as appropriatewitha view to driving business to the Croke Park Campus.
Pro-activelysourcenew leadsanddevelopenquiriesforCrokeParkMeetings&Events.
Meetpotentialandexisting clientsandconductsiteinspections.
AttendMICEfamtrips,networkingeventsandindustryexhibitionsbothnationallyandinternationally.
Tomonitorandreporton thelocalandnationalmarketandcompetitors.
ManageCrokeParkMeetings & Eventskeyaccountsand recognise andcapitaliseon all opportunities fromthese existing accounts and maintain them to their optimum level.
Activelyup-sellseachbusiness opportunity; matching thecustomer profile withtheappropriate product; achievepersonal and team related revenue goals.
Participate fullyinall salesactivitiesincluding telesales, sales calls,corporateentertainingand socialevents as necessary.
This willentail a weekly target of tele-calls and face-to-face meetings to be completed.
ToachieveagreedsalesKPls Sell the Croke Park Experience - encourage clients to add ontours,galadinner,post-eventdrinksintheGAAMuseum.
Work closely withFaille Ireland,DublinConvention Bureau and thelocalProfessional Conference Organisers on promoting Croke Park Meetings & Events as a premium venue for international events.
Builda strongworkingrelationship withotherDublin venues sellingCrokePark Meetings& Events as anoptionforgala dinners and evening events.
ToassisttheMeetingsandEventsteaminthedeliveryofconferenceactivity, whereadditionalsupportisneeded.
EssentialCriteria: 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
Experience of working within a large hotel, venue or event agency.
ExcellentadministrativeandITskills;ExperienceofusingEvents500orsimilarCRMsystem.
Strongcustomerfocusandcustomerserviceskills.
KnowledgeofMeetings,Incentives,ConferencesandEventsindustryandofferings.
ThoroughunderstandingoftheAssociationsectorintheDomesticandInternationalmarket.
Strongorganisationandprioritisationskills;demonstrableabilitytoworkunderpressureandmultitaskeffectively.
