Job Summary
The Camp Health Supervisor oversees the health and safety of campers and staff, providing medical treatment and maintaining records. They will also complete the medical check-in process, keep track of medications, and ensure sanitation and safety practices are maintained throughout the camp.
Responsibilities
* Provide health care to meet individual needs by following healthcare policies and procedures.
* Ensure inventory of the camp health center and order necessary supplies and equipment.
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulations.
* Prepare and utilize a daily medical log for treatment and medications.
* Understand and utilize online systems for medical reporting and paperwork.
* Ensure camper and staff health examinations are current and on file.
* Prepare and record insurance and accident report forms as applicable.
* Maintain knowledge of facility emergency action plans and respond accordingly.
* Utilize CPR and First Aid training as necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications
* Be at least 21 years old.
* Hold one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Physician, or Physician's Assistant (PA).
* Knowledge of working with children in a medical setting.
* Ability to maintain health records and administer medication.
* Current advanced level CPR certification in compliance with regulations.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Possess good character, integrity, patience, sense of humor, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
* Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands
The job requires up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, walking on uneven terrain, and ability to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours.
