Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced nanny to provide dedicated care for a 4-year-old child with autism (Level 2). The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autism spectrum, be energetic, and be able to create a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide attentive and structured care for our child throughout the day.
* Assist with morning routine and school drop-off at 8:30 AM.
* Plan and engage in sensory-friendly and educational activities tailored to our childs needs.
* Support childs social, emotional, and developmental growth.
* Pick up from school and supervise afternoon activities.
* Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
* Light housekeeping in the home.
* Assist with toileting and personal care routines.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times.
* Communicate daily with parents regarding the childs progress, challenges, and achievements.
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a nanny, caregiver, or in a childcare setting, preferably with children on the autism spectrum.
* Must have a valid drivers license.
* Training or experience in special needs care, ABA therapy, or early childhood education is a plus.
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Excellent communication and patience.
* Ability to commit to a long-term role and provide consistency for the child.
