We are currently seeking an Electrical QA/QC to join a high-profile project in South Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and verifying the quality and compliance of electrical installations on-site, ensuring all work is carried out in line with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, and applicable standards (ET101, IEC, etc.) Monitor and document the quality control process throughout the installation phase.
Perform routine site QA/QC inspections and report findings.
Review and verify electrical inspection test records (ITRs), installation check sheets, and red-line/as-built drawings.
Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation for turnover and handover packages.
Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) where appropriate and track corrective actions.
Support the implementation of the project's Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
Assist in client walkdowns and audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Ensure all quality-related work is in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the electrical discipline on construction or industrial projects.
Recognised electrical qualification Strong knowledge of Irish and international electrical codes and standards.
Experience in reviewing technical drawings, QA documentation, and test results.
Familiarity with quality systems and procedures Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
Right to work in Ireland.
Desirable: Experience working on mission-critical projects such as data centres or pharma facilities.
Knowledge of commissioning processes and electrical handover requirements.
Familiarity with QA software/tools IOSH or equivalent safety certification.
