Junior Wedding & Events AdministratorThis role is based on a minimum 3-Day working week.About the RoleThe Newpark Hotel, part of the Flynn Hotel Collection, is renowned for its exceptional guest experiences, elegant weddings, and memorable events. We are now seeking a Junior Wedding & Events Administrator to join our dedicated Weddings & Events team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow up on incoming enquiries, chasing and converting them in line with SOPRespond promptly and professionally to events enquiries via email and telephoneEnsure all bookings (provisional & confirmed) are accurately inputted into the Hotsoft system, including linked room reservationsEnsure all contracts are received and filed correctly in line with SOPAttend client meetings if requiredProcess booking changes, ensuring relevant departments are informed in a timely mannerRepresent The Newpark Hotel in a professional and welcoming manner during client meetings, show-arounds, and telephone interactionsManage deposits and ensure all deposits are paid in accordance with T&CsAssist our Events Sales Manager with site visits and familiarisation trips for prospective clientsParticipate in team meetingsPrepare weekly wedding and wedding tasting menus, rooming lists, and top table name cardsConduct wedding show-arounds and cover follow-up calls for wedding dates as requiredSupport in converting provisional bookings into confirmed eventsThe Ideal CandidateStrong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Confident in working with booking systems (experience with Hotsoft is an advantage).Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or events role is desirable but not essential.A passion for weddings and events with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.Flexible and willing to work to the needs of the business.What We OfferOpportunity to work within one of Ireland's leading family-run hotel groupsHands-on training and development opportunitiesStaff discounts across the Flynn Hotel CollectionComplimentary Daily MealsFree Gym MembershipRecognition & AwardsA supportive and friendly team environment.Job Type: Part-timeBenefits:Employee discountGym membershipOn-site gymOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
