A well-established brokerage is growing its Wholesale Commercial book and is now seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team. This is a key role within a collaborative and supportive environment, with a strong focus on client service and retention.
Reporting to the Team Leader and Head of New Business, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of Wholesale Commercial clients. This includes handling new business from enquiry to placement, providing tailored insurance advice, and maintaining a high standard of service. You will build lasting client relationships, oversee renewals, negotiate terms, and address queries efficiently. The ability to assess risk and recommend suitable cover is key, along with a good understanding of market trends and compliance requirements.
To be considered, candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in a Commercial Insurance role. A CIP qualification is preferred, and APA is the minimum requirement. Strong technical knowledge of commercial products and experience managing client portfolios are key requirements.
In return, you will receive a salary of up to €50,000, depending on experience, along with a performance-related bonus and pension contribution. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work from home two days per week.
