Site Manager
to
relocate to Canada
(Vancouver or Toronto) and join the
Building Division
of one of
Canada's Largest Main Contractors
(Circa $4 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of
High-Rise
,
Commercial
,
Healthcare
,
Infrastructure
,
Transportation
,
Educational
projects etc.
Duties:
Report to Construction Manager, accountable for field operations from project planning to completion.
Manage site operations, overseeing self-performed and subcontracted construction work.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with company policies.
Supervise and mentor foremen and field personnel, including junior site managers.
Utilise comprehensive knowledge of project management lifecycle and S-Curve.
Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, elevate commercial issues as needed.
Develop construction strategies, project execution plans, scheduling, and estimating.
Enforce project safety protocols, conduct progress and safety meetings with subcontractors.
Requirements:
Degree or Trade Certification preferred.
10+ years in Site Management for a main contractor / general contractor.
Experience delivering projects ranging from $20 Million+.
Expertise in cost control, scheduling, subcontractor selection, and safety.
Experience in healthcare projects and advanced construction engineering would be beneficial.
Strong leadership in delegation, teamwork, and process improvement.
Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
Benefits:
Salary $140,000 to $160,000 CAD (Circa €94k to €107k)
$15,000 to $25,000 CAD relocation package
