There is currently one permanent & whole-time Medical Scientist, Senior vacancy available in the Virology Department (including NPT in Virology), Galway University Hospitals.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

* Demonstrate depth and breadth of Clinical Diagnostic Virology experience as relevant to the role
* Candidates must show evidence that they have worked in an ISO 15189 accredited Virology/Microbiology Laboratory.
* Demonstrate knowledge of NPT in Virology.
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of being part of a team in achieving ISO 15189 accreditation
