Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week, covering US Hours: 1pm to 9pm GMT)
Do you have a proven track record in translating integration requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions that support business operations and data flow efficiency? Are you keen to accelerate your career with a leading global IT organisation at the forefront of AI and innovation?
Join TCS as an IDMC Integration Developer!
The Role
As an Informatica IDMC Integration Developer, you will design, develop, and support cloud‑based integrations using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) with a strong emphasis on Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI). The role involves building and maintaining batch, real‑time, and event‑driven integrations, working with APIs and multiple data formats, and ensuring high standards of data quality, performance, and reliability.
You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—business stakeholders, architects, and downstream application teams—to understand integration needs and deliver end‑to‑end solutions. The developer is expected to contribute to documentation, follow CI/CD and version control practices, and support integration deployments in a structured and controlled manner.
Your Responsibilities
Develop and optimise integrations using IDMC CDI and CAI components.
Work with JSON, XML, CSV, and other structured/unstructured data formats for ingestion, mapping, and transformation.
Build reusable CDI mappings, mapping tasks, and parameterised pipelines optimized for performance and maintainability.
Design and manage CAI processes, including service connectors, synchronous/asynchronous flows, event‑driven integrations, and orchestration logic.
Implement robust error‑handling frameworks, including retries, exception handling, boundary events, and comprehensive logging.
Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts to support backend integrations.
Monitor and tune IDMC workloads—task flows, schedules, secure agents, and job performance.
Maintain strong data quality, resolve discrepancies through profiling, validation, and transformation rules.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality integration solutions.
Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, including design specifications and integration flow details.
Support integration deployments using CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control practices.
