Project Engineer Role Summary
The Project Engineer will oversee the planning and execution of projects related to automation, aseptic processing, new equipment installation, and facility modifications. This involves ensuring timely completion within budget and achieving desired goals.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate delivery of processing equipment according to set timelines and scope.
* Work with vendors and engineering teams for equipment installation and hook-up services.
* Lead project team or assist Project Manager in factory acceptance testing programs.
* Manage documentation requirements for all equipment.
* Commission equipment for validation activities.
* Develop training and maintenance protocols for equipment.
* Provide regular progress updates to Project Manager on key project outcomes.
* PARTICIPATE IN technical problem-solving forums associated with product manufacturing, aseptic filling, and packaging.
* Deliver process improvement projects.
* Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to implement improvement opportunities.
* Organize regular project review meetings.
* Attend weekly Tier Meetings.
Qualifications
* Third-level qualification in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience.
* At least 5 years of experience working within medical device or bio/pharmaceutical industries.
* Project Management skills are desirable but not necessary.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to operate effectively in a multi-function project environment.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team to articulate specific functional requirements and collaborate across various disciplines.
