Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Accounts Payable team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, matching and posting large volumes of supplier invoices in a multi-currency/entity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process and post supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
2. Liaise with Suppliers, Project Support Team, Functional Departments and wider Finance Team to resolve invoice, account and payment queries
3. Be the key contact point for your assigned group of suppliers
4. Perform monthly supplier account reconciliations
5. Carry out various AP Admin tasks such as master data requests, document and mailbox management etc.
6. Support with month end activities
7. Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager
8. Support and participate in Finance process improvement projects
9. Support audit-related activities as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Skilled Professional with a strong knowledge of Accounts Payable & 3+ years' experience minimum
Business related qualification desirable
Proven track record of understanding accounting principles and VAT treatment on invoices (Reverse charge, Intrastat etc.)
Strong team player who is able to work on own initiative
Attention to detail & compliance oriented (due to high volume of invoices/transactions monthly)
Excellent organization & time management skills with an ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Construction Industry experience an advantage
Dynamics 365, Proactis & Tradex experience a distinct advantage
Proficient in MS Office
