As an Operations Associate, you will join our operations teams and gain rich experience in a fast-paced food production site. You will be rotated to different sites during the program.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply best practices for safe systems in a busy production environment.
* Solve problems and drive continuous improvement: Work as part of a broader production/process team and utilise team-based problem solving employing lean/6 sigma techniques.
* Manage shifts: Learn the production processes and work with a team of experienced operators to produce product to the right first time quality.
* Be a key point of authority for all team members and resolve any people-related issues that may arise on your shift.
* Lead daily shift handover meetings and ensure meeting objectives are met.
* Drive team performance through feedback, coaching, counselling, and training team members.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A high academic record in Engineering, Food Science or a related discipline, and an expected minimum of a 2.2 honours primary degree.
