A vacancy has arisen for a Practice Accountant to join our expanding accountancy practice in Ennis, Co. Clare
Salary and Benefits
* Part time role possible, pro-rata

The Job
The key duties of the post are as follows:
* Preparation and review of end of year accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
* Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships and Companies
* Preparation of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies
* Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns and RCT submissions
* Dealing with clients via phone, email and in-person meetings
* Managing a portfolio of client accounts
Ideal candidate experience requirements:
* Fully qualified with appropriate technical qualification and with at least 2 years' experience in practice
* Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment
* Current working knowledge of Irish tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small business
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems
* Good people skills, and be highly organised.
* A good command of the English language (both spoken and written)
* Experience with accounting and tax software such as Relate, Bright, Sage, ROS and CORE and will be an advantage
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and be a team player
