This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.

Role Responsibilities
You will be trained in the following:
* Maintain operational standards that are consistent with shops operating procedures.
* Ensure that any interaction with customers is carried out in a courteous and professional manner.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales and payments and ensure cash handling and security procedures are observed at all times.
* Maintain a safe environment for customers, volunteers and staff; report hazards to the Shop Manager/Area Manager as appropriate.
* Observe stock management procedures and maximise merchandising and window display opportunities at all times.
