The Third Level Internship Programme is available to National College of Ireland (NCI) students.
It offers students the opportunity to develop and extend their personal, academic and professional skills, while becoming active in their local community.

KeyResponsibilities:
Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the ELI's Programmes e.g. Discover University; Coding Clubs etc, both face to face and online
Support the organisation of ELI events and activities, both online and face-to-face
Helping with the development, packing and delivery of programme resources to local services.
Participating in visits to local schools and after-schools to support ELI programmes and activities.
Participating in research activities as needed, including collecting, collating, inputting and reporting on research
Assisting in the creation and posting of social media content for ELI, as well as collating social media data and analytics
Preparing and maintaining records, reports and/or test data on the programme and participating children
Any other duties as assigned by the Educational Guidance Coordinator or ELI Assistant Director

Key Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a current student in National College of Ireland
Experience of working with young children and families in relevant settings an advantage.
We encourage applications from all students and particularly welcome those from schools in Dublin's inner city that are involved with the Early Learning Initiative
Experience with Microsoft packages, including Excel
Experience creating engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Canva)
Flexible approach to work as hours will vary
APotential capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a cross disciplinary, integrated team, sharing roles and responsibilities
Good time management, administrative and organisational skills
An energetic, confident and pro-active individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
