Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Qualified Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day client files and audits are completed accurately and within timeframes.
Responsibilities
* Ensure timely completion of client files and audits in accordance with established requirements.
* Support junior team members in resolving questions and queries to ensure accurate work production.
* Deliver high-quality client work while adhering to legal and statutory requirements.
* Handle client requests and queries efficiently, promoting client loyalty.
* Record chargeable time and recover all billable hours.
* Prepare client paperwork (accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines for timely submission to HMRC.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be dependable and reliable, and demonstrate a professional manner at all times. They should also have strong organizational skills, good time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience
The role requires a quality-focused individual who is dedicated to developing their knowledge and experience. Working towards ACA/ACCA qualifications is essential, with a minimum requirement of 35% pass mark to class as attempted.
Additional Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, dependability, reliability, professionalism, self-motivation, and adaptability are essential for this role. Organizational skills, managing processes, and good organisation skills to minimize time spent on administration are also required. Confidentiality and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are necessary.
