Position Overview
dormakaba now have a fantastic external sales opportunity for a talented salesperson based in the Republic of Ireland!
Based from home you will be responsible for identifying and winning business for our automatic door projects team, identifying prospects, gaining appointments and coming up with winning solutions to meet and exceed the client’s expectations.
This position is a great opportunity for an experienced salesperson, either internal or external, to join dormakaba and make our company the benchmark for automatic door solutions
What you will do
You will identify sales opportunities for our automatic door products through approaching prospective clients such as main contractors and façade installers, investigating their requirements. proposing solutions and, ultimately, winning orders.
You will carry out consultative meetings with these clients, both via teams and Face to Face. This will be predominantly in the Dublin area, but sometimes in other parts of Ireland.
You will be accountable for increasing sales and identifying further opportunities for dormakaba solutions, collaborating with other business units to win tenders and contracts
What we require
Previous experience of consultative selling, i.e. investigating an issue and then presenting a solution to the client to meet their needs
Confident manner with the ability to present in both online and face to face meetings
Ability to grow and manage a pipeline of potential business with a wide range of lead times
strong skills in areas such as negotiation and closing, communication, collaboration, customer service, as well as skills in administration.
What we prefer
Experience in the security products, building materials or automatic door & fenestration industries would be a distinct advantage
