* Analyze complex sensor software features and design effective test strategies
* Extend the codebase using C++, Python, and related tools to increase testability and debuggability
* Design and implement tests for performance, scalability, OS compatibility, and resource utilization
* Collaborate with product and release management to control risk and streamline releases
* Debug sensor issues to identify root causes and improve test coverage
* Lead rigorous product and test code reviews to improve security and robustness
* Apply engineering best practices (secure coding, testing paradigms, debugging, performance measurement, CI/CD, OS internals)

What You’ll Need

* 5+ years of software testing and quality assurance with a focus on test automation
* Computer science background or equivalent experience
* Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Mac OS at OS level
* Strong programming skills in Python; ability to read and understand C/C++ code
* Experience with acceptance testing tools (e.g., Cucumber, pytest/pytest-bdd)
* Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
* Knowledge of testing methodologies: behavior, functional, performance, unit, security, contract
* Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; self-starter

Bonus Points

* Experience in IT Automation or Cybersecurity
* C/C++ programming background
* Knowledge of Golang
* Knowledge of Playwright or Robot Framework
* Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and cloud certifications (AWS/GCP)
* Open source contributions
