Salary: €36,275- €43,860 per annum
Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates residential and day services across 15 locations, supporting residents and day‑attendees to live an ordinary life.
Key Responsibilities
You will work as part of a committed team, support individuals with intellectual disability or autism, and collaborate on learning and development within a leading national organisation.
Requirements
Hold a Level 6 or above qualification on the QQI Framework or an equivalent qualification in Community/Health, Social Care or Education.
Have at least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Have an understanding of current national and sectoral policy developments in social care within disability services.
Experience running programmes for adults with intellectual disability or autism.
Know the New Directions model of day support services as developed by the HSE.
Be willing to promote this model within your role.
Be able to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
Have effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Be proficient in IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
Hold a full driver’s licence and have access to a personal vehicle (essential).
Be able to support, coach, manage, motivate and develop a mixed workforce of volunteers and employees.
