Job Title: Global Cross-Border Healthcare Engagement Operations Lead.
About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will ensure compliance with internal and external codes of practice, regulatory requirements, and country guidelines for cross-border Healthcare Professional (HCP) engagements originating from the United States. Your primary focus will be on developing strategies and implementing cross-border HCP Engagement Operations activities in collaboration with the Senior Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Director to develop strategies and implement cross-border HCP Engagement Operations activities.
- Represent HCP Engagement Operations in key meetings, strategy sessions, and cross-border projects between US and International teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for internal customers and external consultants on cross-border HCP engagements, providing innovative solutions for simplifying and harmonizing cross-border processes.
- Drive global governance and harmonization of US/International HCPC tiering alignment and system integration across regions.
- Be responsible for daily operational activities, including project and budget management for cross-border engagements.
- Provide expertise to U.S. Business Groups engaging International HCPs, ensuring alignment and consistency in contract implementation.
- Liaise with Compliance leadership to maintain oversight and ensure documentation adheres to relevant country regulations.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biologics industry, at least 5 years of Healthcare Professional (HCP) engagement experience, and comprehensive knowledge of the HCP contracting process, including due diligence, hospitality, Fair Market Value (FMV), Fee for Service (FFS) payments, and reimbursable expenses. Familiarity with global transparency reporting requirements is a plus.
