Role Summary
We are looking for RCV Drivers to join our waste and recycling collection services. We are seeking customer focused individuals to collect waste and recycling on our Domestic and Commercial routes.
Responsibilities
Carry out vehicle condition checks as required on a daily or weekly basis in accordance with company policy.
Carry out assigned collection and delivery targets on a daily/weekly basis.
Ensure written and electronic records are maintained (e.g., time sheets, worksheets, service dockets).
Communicate courteously with customers and relay information that could potentially improve customer service or route optimisation to relevant supervisor.
Assist in training new personnel, as required.
Uphold a valid Class "C" Driving Licence and communicate any accumulated points to the Transport Manager.
Carry out any other duties as required by management in line with meeting Barna Waste company objectives.
Skills and Experience Required
Flexibility with regard to working varying shifts in line with business needs.
Good communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Valid Driver's Licence.
Valid Safe Pass Card is an advantage.
Terms
Hours: shift start times vary between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. and finish times vary between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Required to work Saturdays and public holidays on occasion.
3-month fixed-term contract initially.
€18 per hour.
