We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Sales Engineer to drive market expansion across our automation and software portfolios.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle from initial prospecting and technical discovery to the delivery of complex proposals in conjunction with other teams as required.
Beyond direct sales, you will serve as a strategic lead generator for our specialized Service and Industrial Automation departments ensuring clients receive a holistic ecosystem of support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and engage new industrial clients to promote core hardware & software application offerings including PLCs I/O Drives Industrial PCs Controls Pneumatic valves Specific software applications OEE Cybersecurity Monitoring
* Maintain a high-frequency schedule of on-site technical visits building rapport with engineering plant leadership balanced with internal strategy proposal development
* Act as a technical consultant collaborating cross-departments to identify large-scale project opportunities providing qualified leads to the Industrial Automation Systems Integration Services Calibration Mapping teams
