Accounts Assistant - Top Tier Legal Firm | Dublin City Centre

A multinational Top Tier Legal Firm based in the heart of Dublin city centre is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the finance function within a busy and fast-paced department. Location:

- Based in the heart of Dublin City Centre- Office based position

About the Role

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working closely with senior stakeholders, including partners and the wider finance team, your key responsibilities will include:

- Issuing monthly invoices to clients
- Supporting credit control activities
- Handling day-to-day banking tasks, including providing matter numbers for lodgements
- Allocating outlay invoices to relevant client matters
- Managing records for court stamping costs, including allocation and monthly reconciliation
- Administering petty cash
- Posting journals to the general ledger
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Monitoring and responding to both client and supplier queries via the shared Finance inbox
- Supporting ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required

Person Specification & Qualification:

- Minimum of 1- 4 years' experience accounting experience
- Experience within a legal firm is advantageous
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Organised, focused, and deadline-driven
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Experience with Excel
