Horse Racing Ireland is a commercial semi-state body whose mission is to develop and promote Ireland as a world centre of excellence for horse racing and breeding.
The successful applicant will be required to work with the Photo Finish Team.
The Role:
* Install and operate photographic systems to replicate the exact moment the horse finishes across the line
* Provide efficient daily support and assistance to the Judge and Photo Finish team. To include the setup at each track, some heavy lifting will be required
* Ensure each horse is accurately placed and accurate data is sent to service providers
* Follow all company procedures and protocol
The Ideal Candidate:
* Strong IT skills with an electronic and/or technical background an advantage.
* A problem solver with proven field service experience with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
* Full training will be provided for the ideal candidate.
This role will require the successful candidate to drive the company vehicles regularly and to be available to work weekends, public holidays and during the busy Christmas period.
