About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing. This is a senior clinical position which reports directly to the Director of Nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional leadership to nursing staff at all levels.
* Develop and implement nursing policy and strategy.
* Proactively develop nursing roles in accordance with patient needs.
Requirements:
* A Registered Nurse with full registration.
* A level 8 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Health or management related field.
* Post graduate diploma in gerontology desirable.
* A minimum of 7 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
* A minimum of 4 years management experience at CNM II level or above in an acute hospital setting.
