A leading global quantitative trading firm is looking to hire a Trading Technology Manager to lead support and development of its Delta One trading platform. This is a critical front‑office role, working directly with portfolio managers and traders to ensure the seamless operation, performance, and scalability of systematic equities and index trading strategies.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong trading domain knowledge, acting as a key bridge between trading, quant research, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end stability and performance of the Delta One trading platform across global markets
Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and quants to deliver technology solutions aligned with strategy requirements
Lead real‑time monitoring and incident management for trading, execution, and market data systems
Diagnose and resolve production issues with urgency in a live trading environment
Drive improvements in latency, throughput, and system reliability
Manage exchange connectivity, broker relationships, and execution workflows
Oversee software releases, deployments, and change management processes
Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and automation frameworks
Coordinate with development teams on new feature delivery and system enhancements
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trading technologists
Requirements
Extensive experience in trading technology, production engineering, or trade support within a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or investment bank
Strong knowledge of Delta One products (equities, ETFs, index futures, equity swaps)
Deep understanding of electronic trading systems, order lifecycles, and market structure
Hands‑on programming experience in Python, Java, or C++
Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation
Experience supporting low‑latency, high‑availability systems
Proven ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure trading environment
Excellent communication skills with experience interacting directly with front‑office stakeholders
