Key Responsibilities
Configuration and maintenance of computer systems, servers and network – workstations, servers, switches, printers, displays, tablets.
Supporting End Users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Maintaining accurate record of hardware inventory.
Manage and maintain media backups and archive to LTO tapes and Cloud solutions.
Onboarding and offboarding end users with provision of hardware equipment and software licences.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure their needs are met.
Manage the full software licensing lifecycle, ensuring proper allocation, compliance and visibility in licensing costs.
Maintain and clean existing equipment.
Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of IT operations best practices, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
2+ years' IT Helpdesk experience troubleshooting end user issues.
Strong familiarity with Active Directory on prem and Azure environments.
1+ year experience working with server, storage and network infrastructure.
Ability to diagnose and potentially repair or replace computer system components (storage media/drives, graphics/GPU cards, memory modules, fans, etc.).
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adapting to multiple demands and shifting priorities.
Experience with Virtualization.
Experience with patching procedures and patching technologies.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Desirables
Knowledge of remote desktop technologies such as PCoIP, Splashtop.
Scripting/coding experience, preferably Bash, PowerShell.
Familiarity with Linux.
Familiarity with CG Animation, VFX, or video game production environments & common pipelines.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Azure, CCNA etc.
A full clean drivers license is a bonus.
