Job Description
Due to our continuing success and growth, Eurofins is currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join the GSC IT Architecture Office team, for supporting the management and evolution of an application landscape serving a wide range of Business Lines addressing a large set of markets with different business models.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in Enterprise Architecture related disciplines such as business modelling (business process, value stream), functional analysis, requirement and value analysis, application portfolio management, architecture roadmap and should be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
You will be part of the Enterprise Architecture Office Team in Dublin offices.
How can you help us?
* Work with business and technical stakeholders to understand business operation and strategy to frame problem statements or articulate new application requirement with proper justification.
* Capture the representation of the applications and systems landscape. Analyse application landscape dependencies (technical and functional, application interfaces, program/roadmap).
* Identify the capabilities and limitations/risks of the current applications landscape used by the business line.
* Identify synergy or opportunities by evaluating scenario such as repurpose application assets or innovations within or across the different business lines.
* Develop recommendation to address limitations or enabling synergies by guiding application roadmap preparation.
* Support formalisation of scope, drivers, justification of business requirements for application development investment requests.
* Support Solution Architects in shaping solution design and making application architecture design decisions aligned with business imperatives once investment is approved.

* Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence decision‑makers.
Technical Qualifications and Knowledge
* 8+ years of experience in an IT position with exposure to multiple IT roles (Business analyst, Project manager, Architect, IT / Business relationship manager). Preferably in long standing position of in‑house IT Departments or within IT Consultancy firms active in Enterprise Architecture consulting market.
* Extensive functional knowledge in multiple enterprise functions (sales, production, Laboratory, digital …) relevant to Industries with ties to Eurofins markets and customers.
* Prior experience and knowledge of Test Inspection Certification sector is a plus, logistic/manufacturing or service to industry sectors addressing low margin/competitive market is also valuable.
* Exposure to Enterprise Architecture Assessment and Management methods such as TOGAF, etc. (certification is a nice to have).
* Knowledge of Enterprise Process, Information, Application, and Technology Blueprints preparation.
* Familiar with Enterprise Architecture blueprint development, governance, and management.
* Broad technical aptitude, knowledge and experience across application, information, technology, and process domains.
Languages
Fluent English. Other languages would be considered as a plus.
