Bookkeeping and Accounts Technician Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on position in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
* Support the finance manager with core bookkeeping duties.
* Prepare year-end accounts for a group of companies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
* Quarterly VAT returns and submissions to relevant authorities.
* Bank reconciliations, cash book postings, and sales ledger management.
* General accounting and administrative support as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualified or part-qualified bookkeeping and accounting qualifications.
* A minimum of one year's experience in a busy finance or accounting setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
* Sage Accounts Production experience is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
* Self-motivation and a proactive attitude.
