Our specialist Flood Risk & Drainage Division plays a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions that protect communities, enhance climate resilience, and support sustainable land development. As we continue to grow our portfolio of major flood relief and water management projects, we are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to nationally significant infrastructure, collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, and help shape the future of flood risk management across the region.
Key Accountabilities
Working as the lead member (project manager) of a project team to deliver quality services to Clients.
Ability to manage a challenging and diverse workload
The successful individual must be able to manage deadlines within a Quality Management System.
Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards.
Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business.
Business development including the preparation of tender submissions and identification of new market opportunities
Represent Ayesa in a professional manner.
Awareness of, and full compliance with, the requirements of Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Management of projects in compliance with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Skill & Knowledge
Honours degree qualified in Civil Engineering field (QII Level 8 minimum, Level 9 preferred).
10 years post-graduate experience with at least 8 in the flood risk management/drainage discipline (candidates that demonstrate exceptional ability with less experience may be considered).
Proven experience in the delivery of flood relief of other water related services, including client management and contract administration.
Knowledge of local legislation codes of proactive, design standards and planning processes is a distinct advantage
