The ASI is currently recruiting for a Relief Care Worker, who will work in Sullivan Day Care Centre, Cathedral Road, Cavan Town, Co Cavan, H12 CF53.
This is a permanent contract.
There are relief hours available in Sullivan Day Care.
You will work as the need arises.
Reporting to the Day Centre Manager, the Care Worker is responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia, addressing their needs and enhancing their quality of life.
To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities.
FETAC level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential.
You will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
