Working closely with our existing finance, capital markets and aircraft leasing legal, tax and listings teams, our new Corporate Services Group provides expert director and corporate services to a wide range of structured finance, investment vehicles and aircraft leasing transactions. The group has deep experience with the full spectrum of asset classes that typically utilise the Irish Section 110 special purpose vehicle (SPV) structure.The team is managed by a senior team of chartered accountants, chartered company secretaries, chartered directors and chartered tax consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to work in close collaboration with the new leadership team as we build this business and ensure the provision of premium quality corporate services to our clients.About the RoleWe are seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant (or up to one-year PQE) to join the new Corporate Services Group based in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to join our fast-paced and professional team delivering top-tier services directly to clients. We are looking for someone who is ready to contribute to a growing organisation known for its commitment to employee development and long-term career advancement. The successful candidate will be part of an expanding accounting team working under the direction of senior team members.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of financial statements for a varied portfolio of capital markets and aircraft leasing SPVs.Beginning to end responsibility for leading the preparation of financial statements, including active involvement in both audit preparation and delivery.Lead the onboarding of new clients from an accounting perspective.Train and manage less experienced members of the team.Lead the interaction with auditors and the client to ensure successful completion of the financial statements.Completion of routine monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of SPVs.Liaising with the tax advisors in relation to VAT and corporation tax compliance.Preparation and filing of quarterly regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.In time take on a portfolio of SPV directorships thereby getting a broader exposure to the transaction and clients.Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, while actively contributing to process improvements within the team.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseA newly qualified ACA / ACCA accountant or an ACA/ACCA with up to 12 months post qualification experience.Ability to review complicated SPV transactions from an accounting perspective and lead the on boarding and delivery of all related accounting requirements.Experience at either performing an audit or preparing for and answering audit queries.Experience in a financial reporting role would be an advantage.Proficiency in using MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills is essential.Excellent communication skills.Highly self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail.The successful candidate should have a desire to work in a fast paced, client facing environment where delivery of a professional service to both clients and other counterparties is of key importance.Key Competencies· Good attention to detail· Strong technical accounting knowledge.· Collaborative style· Strong academic background· Demonstrates initiative· Eager to learn· Competent in time and task managementBenefits· Competitive salary and bonus structure· Comprehensive health and wellness benefits· Professional development opportunities
