Legal Secretary/ Personal Assistant to the Planning & Environmental practice group
Your responsibilities
1. Preparing and issuing invoices as required.
2. Corresponded with clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, and email communication.
3. Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents, such as motions or letters of intent. Preparing booklets for court.
4. Coordinate internal meetings and external client events as required.
5. Perform secretarial duties, including maintaining fee earners' calendars, scheduling appointments, making copies, and compiling complex documentation
6. Create and maintain case files, including producing and editing transcripts
7. Screen, direct, and prioritise incoming calls and emails to the reporting team.
8. Perform legal and background research when requested
9. Manage travel arrangements and maintain detailed calendars for multiple fee earners, including court dates, client meetings, and deadlines.
10. Monitor deadlines and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
What you'll need to succeed
11. Previous experience in a fast-paced litigation role
12. Previous administration experience in a busy environment
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
