Key Responsibilities
Lead and Inspire: Oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring a warm and vibrant atmosphere for customers while motivating and developing the team to deliver outstanding service.
Customer Experience: Foster a customer-focused culture, guaranteeing exceptional service, high-quality food presentation, and prompt resolution of customer queries.
Operational Excellence: Maintain an organised, clean, and efficient café environment, ensuring smooth daily operations from opening to closing.
Sales & POS Management: Manage the point-of-sale system, monitor transactions, and ensure accuracy in cash handling.
Stock & Display Management: Oversee stock levels, liaise with suppliers, and ensure visually appealing, well-organised food displays.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety and hygiene regulations, implement best practices, and promote a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop front-of-house staff, cultivating a positive, high-performing team culture.
Requirements
Previous managerial or supervisory experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with confidence in engaging customers.
Food safety training and awareness.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day:
* Salary up to €40,000 + Bonus doe
