Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Applications Engineer to spearhead our global FAE team in the computing market.
This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop new products and support customer design for the computing power market.
The successful candidate will drive applications activities from project initiation to completion, including product definition, customer interface, product testing, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
* Product Definition and Design-in Support for Advanced Multiphase Power Controllers Used in Computing Applications
* Creation and Production of Design-in Tools Including Evaluation Boards, Device Software, and Technical Literature (Datasheets, Application Notes, Technical Seminars, and Trade Press Articles)
* Participation in Customer Visits and Provision of In-depth Training to Promote New Products/Investigate New Ideas/Solve Technical Issues
* Provision of Technical Support with All Areas of Product Function and Use
* Leadership of Product Bench Testing and Analysis to Complete Product Development and Design-in Activity
* Participation in Cross-Departmental Teams Focused on New Product Developments and Releases
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an Equivalent Professional Qualification
* 5+ Years' Experience
* Experience in Power Electronics Design is an Essential Requirement
* FPGA and Software Development Experience Advantageous
* Strong Individual-based Problem Solving and Debug Skills are Essential
* Experience with Simplis, Mathcad, Orcad, and Allegro Design Tools
* Excellent Communication Skills, Both Oral and Written, are an Essential Requirement
* Travel (25%) to Meet with Worldwide Customers and Field Engineers
