Automation and OT Service Lead Role Overview
The Automation and OT Managed Service Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of projects and support services across automation and OT systems within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
This key position acts as the primary point of contact for our team on client sites, encompassing management of overall team resourcing, performance, and development.
This role involves a three-day workweek on site, requiring excellent people management skills across multiple disciplines. A strategic thinker is essential to drive innovative thinking and add value to the service provided.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overall accountability for all Cognizant activities on client sites.
* Responsible for onsite project delivery, working with the site project manager to resource, budget, and deliver all onsite projects on time.
* Responsible for onsite managed service teams to resource and deliver system support, system change, and innovation to clients.
* Supporting team development and career progression.
* Resourcing for Project and Manage Service requirements to meet client needs.
* Measuring and reporting team performance to Cognizant and client stakeholders against formal KPIs.
* Managing our service budget and ensuring control of Capex spend for client projects.
* Acting as primary POC for all client requirements related to Automation and OT systems.
* Working closely with Cognizant Delivery Leaders and our Sales team to manage and develop our Site Services offering.
