Job Title: Test Manager (7+ Yrs)
Location: Swords – Onsite / Hybrid / Offsite (2 days onsite)
Contract / Permanent: 6 Months with further extension. (Aligned to Census 2027 testing programme (long-term engagement supporting Census 2027 delivery)
Start date: 01/04/2026.
Client & Nature of Services – Brief Overview
The Client is undertaking a large-scale digital transformation as part of Census 2027, introducing online Census submission, CRM-driven field operations, and mobile-enabled field staff. To support this transformation, a dedicated test team has been established to plan, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive end-to-end Census testing programme.
The Senior Test Manager will lead testing strategy and execution across multiple programmes, ensuring high-quality delivery of mission-critical digital systems that support Census 2027.
Mandatory Requirements (Pass / Fail)
1. Experience
* Minimum 7+ years of substantial professional experience in the specialised testing field (Senior level)
2. Qualifications
* ISTQB Advanced or Expert
3. English Language
* Fluency in English is mandatory
* CV must indicate native or non-native proficiency
* Non-native speakers must demonstrate CEFR C2 level or equivalent (certificate preferred but not mandatory)
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Performance and security testing exposure
* Background in software engineering or test automation development

* Process improvement:
Champion continuous improvement, lean testing practices, and shift-left/shift-right approaches.
* Test planning and execution:
Oversee test plans, test cycles, defect management, and release readiness.
* Coaching and mentoring:
Available to develop the capability of the wider test teams across the organisation.
* Excellent communication:
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and present quality insights clearly.
