Overview
The Panel is working exclusively with a niche investment manager to source a
Portfolio Analyst
to join their small team in Dublin.
The role requires someone with 2-4 years with attribution, investment performance and/or risk analysis experience with an interest in being mentored by a senior member of the team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various teams across the firm to drive investment performance and risk analysis.
Role & responsibilities
Portfolio Analysis
managing production of standard and bespoke attribution report
understanding and explaining investment performance via attribution
Producing and analysing style and fundamentals analysis on portfolios
Producing portfolio analysis on peers to support commercial analysis
Investment
Ad-hoc portfolio analysis for investment team
Providing analysis tailored to style requirements
Reporting and presentation of information including data visualisation output
Ensuring accurate data management
Investment Risk
Risk Analysis
Risk Models (Barra, Port, FactSet)
Support for Head of Investment Risk
Requirements
Degree qualified with strong numeracy requirements, achieving at least a 2.1 classification.
2-4 years experience in performance analysis & attribution in investment management
Ability to automate processes, structured communication skills, and effective stakeholder engagement.
Self starter who can work on their own initiative
Team player, engaging and keen to develop strong working relationship with the local and international teams
