Financial Accounts & Controls Manager – Part time

Responsibilities
Management of monthly actual to budget reporting for Intangible Assets, including ad hoc requests.
Management of quarterly Balance Sheet account reviews for all legal entities with responsibility for identification, escalation and ensuring resolution of any issues.
Management of annual accounts and financial statements for all legal entities adhering to strict deadlines.
Management of monthly financial controls for employee benefits (net pay deductions) including responsibility for identification, escalation of ensuring resolution of any issues.
Supporting the payroll team with monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all payroll accounts, including resolution of any reconciling items.
Identification and escalation of any compliance issues.
Management of Finance information for ad hoc requests for external reporting including Transparency Revenue, GPG reporting, CSRD reporting (if within scope).
Qualifications
ACA/ACCA qualified, preferably practice trained, with a minimum of 5 years PQE outside of practice.
Minimum of 7‑8 years’ experience in producing end of year accounts and financial statements including preparation and review of lead schedules, intercompany transactions and consolidation.
Experienced in managing the annual statutory audit process.
Thorough understanding of transactional accounting particularly payroll, accounts payable and VAT.
Payroll experience, particularly international payroll will be beneficial.
Team player with excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues both across the business and with different levels of experience.
Ability to work independently on own initiative. Self‑motivated with high standards and a drive to produce quality output.
Advanced Excel skills and large ERP system experience are essential.
