Job Title: Legal Secretary
Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Legal Secretary to join our busy Probate Department. As a key support role, you will work closely with solicitors on a range of private client and probate matters. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of probate processes and relevant documentation, excellent typing and IT skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to solicitors in the Probate Department.
* Preparing and drafting correspondence, wills, and probate documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Managing client files from instruction through to completion, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and deadlines.
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Probate or Private Client.
* Strong knowledge of probate processes and relevant documentation.
* Excellent typing and IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office and case management systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Professional communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive client interactions.
