SAYE (Save As You Earn Scheme) Development Opportunities through our Dalata Academy- support your career journey Staff Appreciation Initiatives, fun team-building activities and regular charity events Your Job: Manage Guests' reservations, ensuring that their needs and wants are met to the highest standard. Dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries. To represent the company in a professional and courteous manner. To deal with both individual and group reservations in an efficient and accurate manner, operating within minimum turnaround times for all aspects of the reservation process. To ensure reservations are correctly entered, updating relevant information throughout. Complete daily/weekly/monthly reservation reporting as required. Understanding yield management to ensure we achieve maximum revenue possible. Understanding and updating the websites and systems for room. To liaise with all departments to ensure all requests are adhered to. To work with the Sales team with lead generation and implementing new contracts. Ensure full knowledge with all hotel facilities, including opening and closing times and promote these facilities at every opportunity. To participate in all training programmes scheduled for you. To attend and support hotel and departmental meetings as requested. To occasionally attend corporate events outside of working hours. What You'll Need: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Outstanding communication skills. Capability to remain calm and perform well under pressure.
