Credit Controller
Location: Slane
Contract: Fixed-term / Summer Contract
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm or 9am–6pm
Salary: Dependent on experience

Responsibilities
As a Credit Controller, you will manage high volumes of customer contact each day, helping to resolve outstanding balances, maintain accurate records and support the wider finance team with day‑to‑day activity.
Manage debt collection across an allocated customer ledger
Contact customers proactively to resolve outstanding balances
Handle high volumes of customer interaction, potentially up to 100 customers per day
Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systemsProduce and support reporting where required
Work closely with the wider finance team to resolve queries
Support ad‑hoc finance duties as needed
Ensure customer conversations are handled professionally and effectively
Work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
Previous experience in a Credit Control role or similar finance position
Strong Excel skills, ideally including formulas
Experience working in a medium to large organisation (desirable but not essential)
IATI qualification or equivalent (advantageous but not essential)
Good problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Word, Outlook and general finance systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self‑motivated and organised approach to work
The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload
A collaborative, team‑focused attitude and strong work ethic
