API Maintenance Lead - Senior Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced API Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations for API production facilities and utilities.
This is a key leadership position where you will drive reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement while managing a large maintenance team and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, including Engineers, Planners, and Front-Line Leaders.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure high asset availability and compliance.
- Drive capability building, including lean methodologies, technical upskilling, and structured problem-solving.
- Manage relationships with union groups, fostering proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Optimise maintenance expenditure and provide strategic input into capital planning.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability and efficiency.
- Utilise digital transformation tools and lean principles to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Honours Degree in Engineering, Science, or a relevant post-trade qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior engineering or maintenance management role.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on talent development and team performance.
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence and Asset Reliability principles; formal Lean Six Sigma qualifications are an advantage.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing maintenance budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
