The primary duties will include:
Carrying out Mechanical Maintenance duties on all Production
Plants and Mobile Plant in Locations. Some of the mobile plant
include Kleeman, Powerscreen, Finlay, Metso and Tesab mobile
crushers and screening machines. Similarly, work on Volvo, CAT
and Komatsu excavators, loading shovels and dumpers will be
required.
Maintenance duties include changing mesh screen cloths,
servicing and maintenance of engines, replacing hammers and
blow bars in the crushers, fabricating or repairing machinery
guarding or safety devices on machinery, replacing tracks on
mobile equipment and fault finding. This is not an exhaustive list.
Experience in engines, electrics and hydraulics in mobile
crushers and screeners is essential.
Implementing Best Practice in conjunction with the Management
Team to improve and maximise the operation of the production
plant and equipment.
Delivering a Preventative Maintenance Culture within the
production plant and equipment.
Ability to plan maintenance operations in an organised, safe
manner.
An involvement in exploring plant improvements in terms of
safety, performance and energy efficiencies.
Compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quarry/Pit
regulations.
